The power of Clinical Psychology without feeling … clinical

Hi, and welcome! I’m Rachael, a down-to-earth and compassionate person dedicated to working authentically with you to holistically improve your health, life and overall wellbeing. If you struggle with increasingly common issues of disordered eating and body acceptance, I can help you eat intuitively to free your relationship with food and your body. If you struggle with low mood or anxiety, I can help you heal to become more resilient, self-aware, and present. Life is short, so don’t delay looking after yourself any longer!

Services I offer

Psychological issues that I help adults with include:

  • Disordered eating and poor body acceptance

  • Depression, low mood and grief

  • Anxiety (generalised, social, panic, phobias)

  • Adjusting to life transitions

  • Stress management and burnout

  • Alcohol use

  • Interpersonal issues

  • Trauma

  • Low self-esteem and perfectionism

  • Anger management

  • General lack of life direction

My approach

For over 10 years I have helped adults with a range of psychological issues, adopting a positive psychology framework and an integrative evidence-based therapeutic approach. I tailor my approach based on you and your goals, as you are much more than just a diagnosis.

Together we work to understand the underlying factors causing and maintaining your issues, how to cope using more helpful strategies, and how to change to better thrive in life and widen your window of tolerance. To do this, I integrate the following treatments:

  • Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MiCBT)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

  • Schema Focused Therapy
